bitsensing’s Selected As Technology Pioneer By The World Economic Forum

bitsensing, a leading radar solution company, today announces that it has been named as a 2026 Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum (WEF).
Launched in 2000, the Technology Pioneers community brings together 100 of the world’s most promising early-stage companies with the potential to reshape industries and address global challenges.
In order to be selected by WEF for this prestigious award, the judges apply a rigorous set of criteria. Eligible companies are privately held; independent businesses that have reached a minimum of Series A funding, are less than 10 years old, and are positioned to drive meaningful industry transformation through frontier technologies.
The 2026 cohort reflects several major shifts shaping the frontier technology landscape: the rise of AI infrastructure and agentic systems, the convergence of energy and compute, rapid advances in robotics and physical AI, renewed momentum in quantum technologies, and growing investment in climate, health, space, and advanced materials innovation. bitsensing's selection recognizes the company’s technological leadership and its potential to contribute to these global transformations at scale.
The Technology Pioneers community is part of the Innovator Communities at the World Economic Forum, which convene the world's leading global start-ups across different growth stages from early-stage Technology Pioneers to growth-stage Global Innovators and unicorn companies valued at more than $1 billion.
“Being selected as a 2026 Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum is a significant milestone for bitsensing,” said Dr. Jae-Eun Lee, CEO of bitsensing. “This recognition reflects the dedication of our team and the real-world impact of our radar innovations across mobility, smart infrastructure and beyond. We are excited to join a community of pioneering companies that are helping shape the future through technology and look forward to contributing our expertise to address global challenges.”
